1. How Pointspay works

1.1. What is Pointspay?

Pointspay is an innovative marketing and payment technology, available to leading online shops worldwide. With Pointspay, members can spend and collect points or miles from their favorite loyalty programs. You can take advantage of incredible offers from participating online shops and loyalty programs, specially curated for Pointspay users.

1.2. How do I create an account on Pointspay?

There are different ways to create a Pointspay account:

1. On Pointspay.com

  • Click on the “Sign up” button on pointspay.com or click here to create a Pointspay account using your email address.

2. During checkout at a Pointspay partner shop

  • Visit any Pointspay partner shop.
  • Select Pointspay as the payment method during checkout and create an account using your email address.

3. From a Pointspay partner loyalty program shopping portal

  • Visit any Pointspay partner loyalty program shopping portal.
  • Click on the “Sign up” button on those portals and create an account using your email address.

1.3. How can I benefit from my loyalty programs with Pointspay?

There are many benefits from using your loyalty programs with Pointspay:

  • You can connect your various loyalty program accounts with Pointspay and use them while shopping online with your Pointspay account.
  • When you shop using Pointspay, you can save on your shopping with your hard-earned loyalty points or miles.
  • When you shop at a Pointspay partner shop, you can spend your loyalty points or miles during checkout and collect more points or miles instantly on cash portion spent.
  • With Pointspay, you can benefit from exclusive offers from partner shops and loyalty programs.
  • Pointspay also offers its very own Shopping Assistant, a browser extension available for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox through which you can view the price of products at select partner shops in your loyalty program currency.

1.4. How can I connect my loyalty program accounts with Pointspay?

You can connect your loyalty program accounts with Pointspay in various ways:

On Pointspay.com

  • If you are a first-time user and don’t have a Pointspay account, create one as mentioned here.
  • Upon the successful creation of your Pointspay account, you will be asked to connect your loyalty program accounts

OR

  • If you already have a Pointspay account, login to your account.
  • You can visit your Pointspay profile page and connect your loyalty program account from there.

During checkout at a Pointspay partner shop:

  • Visit any Pointspay partner shop.
  • Select Pointspay as the payment method during checkout.
  • After your successful login or signup, you will be asked to connect your loyalty program accounts.

1.5. Can I connect multiple accounts from same loyalty program with Pointspay?

No, for now you can connect only one account from each loyalty program with Pointspay. If you wish to connect another account from same loyalty program, you can do that by disconnecting your current connected account from your Pointspay profile page. 1.6. How can I disconnect a loyalty program account?

You can disconnect your loyalty program account from your Pointspay profile page.

1.8. Where can I find which shops have partnered with Pointspay?

You can explore Pointspay partner shops at our website www.pointspay.com. You can also explore Pointspay partner shops at our partner loyalty programs’ shopping portals:

1.9. Why can’t I find some of my favorite shops ?

Your favorite shops may not be delivering to your selected country or may not be a partner of your selected loyalty program. If that’s the case, then they will not be available on the Pointspay network. You can always try changing country or program.

2. Spending and collecting points & miles

2.1. What are Pointspay shops?

Shops that have a direct partnership with Pointspay are referred to as Pointspay shops. You can visit such shops directly and spend and collect points or miles instantly by choosing to pay with Pointspay at checkout.

2.2. How can I spend & collect my points or miles on Pointspay partner shops?

Visit a Pointspay shop directly and shop as you normally would. Once you get to the checkout, choose to pay with Pointspay in order to spend and collect points or miles on that purchase.

2.3. What if I do not have sufficient points or miles balance?

Don’t worry, you can always complete your payment on a Pointspay shop even if you do not have sufficient points or miles balance. You can pay the remaining amount using your preferred payment card.

2.4. Can I use my payment card to pay in combination with my points or miles balance?

Yes, you can use any payment card to pay for your purchases using any combination of your points and cash.

2.5. How much time will it take to credit my collected points or miles into my loyalty account?

Your collected points will be credited instantly to your loyalty account for any payment made using Pointspay at Pointspay shops.

2.6. Why am I not able to collect points or miles on some shops?

Some Pointspay shops or loyalty programs only offer the option to spend points or miles. In those instances, you can spend your points or miles but will not be able to collect points or miles on the cash portion. In other cases, you will collect points or miles on the cash spent. You can learn more about the options available for different shops through the “How it works” sections on the shop detail pages in the various loyalty program shopping portals.

3. Pointspay Shopping Assistant

3.1. What is Pointspay Shopping Assistant?

Pointspay Shopping Assistant is a browser extension that will appear whenever you visit a Pointspay shop, allowing you to view the price of products at select partner shops in your loyalty program currency and check how many points or miles you can collect on a purchase with Pointspay, so that you will never miss collecting and enjoying the benefits of your hard-earned points or miles.

You can install the Pointspay Shopping Assistant on your preferred browser by clicking following links:

3.3. How does Pointspay Shopping Assistant work?

Pointspay Shopping Assistant will automatically open whenever you visit a Pointspay shop.

On select Pointspay shops, it will allow you to view the price of products in your loyalty program currency and check how many points or miles you can collect on a purchase with Pointspay.

3.4. Which browsers support Pointspay Shopping Assistant?

Currently, Pointspay Shopping Assistant is available on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

3.5. Is Pointspay Shopping Assistant available for my smartphone?

No, browser extensions can only be installed on desktop devices (PC/Laptop).

3.6. What kind of data is shared with Pointspay?

None, because your privacy is important to us! The Pointspay Shopping Assistant only checks whether the address (URL) of the shop you’re visiting corresponds to a Pointspay shop.

4. Transactions and refunds

4.1. Where can I find my transactions?

You can find all your transactions made through Pointspay on your dashboard. Login to your Pointspay account on www.pointspay.com and you’ll find  the Transactions section at the end of the page.

4.2. How can I cancel a transaction?

You cannot cancel a transaction from the Pointspay website or a partner loyalty program shopping portal. You can cancel your transaction by contacting the shop where you have purchased the product or service.

4.3. Do I receive a refund if I cancel a transaction?

Yes, you will receive a refund if you cancel a transaction with a shop, based on the refund amount as confirmed to Pointspay by the shop.

4.4. How can I initiate a refund for a transaction?

For any refund-related information, we request you to contact the shop where you made your purchase.

Refunds need to be authorized by the respective shop and will be processed by Pointspay.

Payment made using a payment card will be refunded to the same card. Likewise, payment made using loyalty points will be refunded to the same loyalty account. Payments made in money will not be refunded as loyalty points or vice versa.

Please note that, subject to the refund policies of the shop, any applicable service fees may be applied for refunds. This is at the discretion of the respective shop and is not determined by Pointspay.

4.5. When will I receive the refund?

You will receive the refund on your payment card and/or loyalty account within 7 business days from the date the refund has been issued by the respective shop.

4.6. What will happen to points or miles I’d collected on a transaction if I cancel it?

When a payment for which points or miles were credited is refunded, Pointspay will try its best to first reverse the points or miles credited. If this is no longer possible due to insufficient points or miles balance or technology limitations, the cash portion net of the value of previously credited points or miles will be refunded.

5. Profile, Account settings & Password

5.1. How can I access my Pointspay profile?

You can visit your Pointspay profile page simply by clicking on the “My Profile” button on the Pointspay website.

5.2. How do I update my Pointspay profile?

Simply visit your Pointspay profile page like mentioned here and edit your information directly on your profile page.

5.3. How can I delete my Pointspay profile?

Visit your Pointspay profile page like mentioned here and click on the “Delete account” link on your profile page.

5.4. How can I change my Pointspay account password?

To change your Pointspay account password, please follow the following steps:

  1. Visit your Pointspay profile page.
  2. Click on the “Login profile” section on your profile page.
  3. Enter a new password in the fields shown and select the“Set new password” button.

5.5. How can I subscribe or unsubscribe from the Pointspay newsletters?

To change your Pointspay notification preferences, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit your Pointspay profile page.
  2. Click on the “My settings” section on your profile page.
  3. Choose to subscribe or unsubscribe to the Pointspay Newsletter.

6.3. Is my payment information safe?

We never share your payment card details with our partners.

7. Virtual Reward Card

7.1. How to add Reward Card to Apple Wallet?

  1. Launch the Apple Wallet app.
  2. Tap on the “+” icon at the top right.
  3. Tap "Continue" on the next screen.
  4. Enter/Select "Cornercard" as the card issuer on the next page.
  5. Select "Enter Card Details Manually" at the bottom on the next page.
  6. Enter your 16 digit Reward Card Number on the next page and tap “Next” at the top right corner.
  7. Enter the Expiry Date and 3-digit CVV of your Reward Card on the next page and tap "Next" at the top right corner.
  8. Agree to Cornercard Terms and Conditions on the next page.
  9. Select "Text Message" as the option to verify your card for Apple Pay ensuring the number mentioned is valid and accessible and tap "Next" at the top right corner.
  10. The OTP received from Cornercard will be auto-filled and your card will be added to Apple Pay.

Do note that some features in Apple Wallet are only available in certain countries or regions and on certain devices. Please check Apple Wallet's FAQ for more details.

Tip: Once the card is added, you can pay using your NFC-enabled smartphone, smartwatch, etc. like any other wallet-added card. However, don't forget to load the card and ensure sufficient funds are available before you try to pay.

7.2. How to add Reward Card to Google Pay?

  1. Launch the Google Pay app.
  2. Tap on “Add a payment method” and then on “Credit or debit card” on the next screen. Alternatively, tap on “Add a card” at the bottom and then on “Debit or credit card” on the options menu that shows up.
  3. On the next screen “Add a card”, tap on “Enter details manually” and enter the 16-digit Reward Card Number, followed by the Expiry Date and 3-digit CVV. Also, enter your Billing Address as you’d provided during your card issuance request.
  4. On the next screen “Issuer terms”, tap on “More” to scroll through the entire issuer terms and then tap on “Accept and continue” at the very end.
  5. You’ll be prompted to set a screen lock if there isn’t one active already. Please tap on “Set a screen lock” to configure a screen lock and tap “Done” once completed to resume with adding the card to Google Pay.
  6. On the next screen, choose “Text message” as your method to verify your card for Google Pay, ensuring the number mentioned is valid and accessible and tap “Continue”.
  7. An SMS with an OTP would be sent to your registered mobile number. Please enter the verification code on the next step and tap “Submit”.
  8. You’ll be prompted to enable NFC if it isn’t enabled already. Please tap “Turn on NFC”, if prompted.
  9. Your card would now be added to Google Pay and is ready for in-store contactless payments!
  10. Warning: If you later remove the set screen lock, the card would be automatically removed from Google Pay within the next 5 minutes. You can of course always add it back by following the above steps again.
